A local Community Planning forum/group has been established in the Derg District Electoral Area as well as 6 other District Electoral Areas and one in Strabane Town. These forums will play a key role in shaping public service delivery in your area so it is necessary that everyone becomes involved.
Derry City and Strabane District Council is leading the way in Local Community Planning, one of only two Councils taking community planning to a local level. Following a comprehensive, co-design consultation process the Local Community Growth Partnerships will oversee service delivery at a local level.
